In this framing project, we wanted to create a custom, yet subtle, mat technique. We inlaid a separate mat color on the interior mat, where the green field would expand into the horizon. This technique extends the horizon line of the artwork.

Large Mat ProportionsFavorite

To create a large scale for this piece, double black suede mats with large borders are used. The layers are separated with a matching gold fillet. A large chunky frame and a picture light complete the project.
